Pranks and heists

What happens when you land on a tram: pranking a ride or flipping heist doors for coins, whose park you visit, shields, being pranked yourself, the limits on what you can lose, and revenge.

All aboard the tram

Land on one of the four TRAM spaces and it's "All aboard!": the tram takes you to someone else's park, where you either prank a ride or pull a heist. Which one you get is decided when you land: half the time each (Prize odds).

You can't roll again until it's finished. If you close the game in the middle of one, it's waiting for you when you come back.

Whose park you visit

The card at the bottom of the screen says whose park it is, with their game piece standing on it: "Prank Felix's park!", "Prank your friend Juno!" or "Revenge on Maple!". The tram picks:

  1. the player you chose for Revenge, if you've chosen one;
  2. otherwise someone who pranked or robbed you recently and hasn't been paid back, one of your friends, or another player who is playing near your park number;
  3. and if nobody is about, a visiting park made up for the trip.

Only parks with at least one ride built can be visited. During your first session's tour, you only visit made-up parks.

The prank

You arrive in the other park, close in on its rides, with a coral "Prank" tag on each one. While you're there the top of the screen shows only your level and coins, and the tab bar is out of the way; the same goes for a heist. The card at the bottom says what a hit pays and what a blocked prank pays. Tap a ride:

  • Splat! A hit. The ride takes the hit and drops a level (a level 1 ride stays at level 1), and you collect the hit prize.
  • Blocked! The park had a shield up. The ride is fine, and you collect the smaller blocked prize.

Then you're whisked home.

The heist

A heist opens the other park's vault: twelve doors. The legend at the top shows the three prizes, Small, Big and Mega, and how many coins each one pays.

One gold coin
Small
Three gold coins
Big
A pile of gold coins
Mega

Your prize is drawn when the heist starts: Small 60% of the time, Big 30%, Mega 10% (see Prize odds). The doors reveal it rather than decide it. Tap a door to flip it. You don't have to wait for one door to finish turning before tapping the next. The first prize to show up three times is yours ("HEIST!", "BIG HEIST!" or "MEGA HEIST!"), and any doors you'd tapped after that stand back up. Every heist ends with one of the three prizes.

Shields don't stop heists.

What you win

  • Coins: the prank or heist prize, times the multiplier you rolled at. The amounts grow with your park.
  • Tournament points: every prank and heist scores in today's tournament.
  • Progress on the Quick Win "Ride the tram 2 times", when you have it.

Being pranked and robbed

Other players can visit your park too. What they did reaches your park the next time you play, and a "While you were away" card tells you about it, for example "A ride needs repairing, 1,200 coins were taken." Tap Get revenge to go to your Friends tab, or OK to carry on.

  • A prank that hits drops one of your rides a level, if you're still building the park they pranked. The ride's build tag shows a hammer: repair it for half the price of the level it lost.
  • A blocked prank uses up one of your shields. Nothing is damaged.
  • A heist takes coins from you: half of what the robber won.

Limits on what you can lose

However many players visit while you're away, when you come back you lose at most:

  • 2 damaged rides, and
  • 15% of your coins to heists.

A ride at level 1 can't be damaged, nor can a ride that's already waiting for a repair. Every visit is listed under "Visitors to your park" on the Friends tab.

Shields

Shield

Your park starts with 3 shields, shown as the shield pips under your coins (tap them for a reminder). Each one blocks one prank against your park and is then used up: the player who pranked you still gets the small blocked prize, but your ride is safe. Shields don't stop heists. A shield that's been used up can come back from the fortune teller: while you have fewer than 3, about one visit in four gives you one back ("+1 shield, Shields: 2 of 3"). You never have more than 3.

Revenge

On the Friends tab, every visit to your park has a Revenge button. Tap it and your next prank or heist goes to that player ("Your next prank or heist goes to Felix."). The list marks them "Next target". Once you've hit them back, their visits show "Even!".

Even without choosing, players who hit you recently are among the parks the tram picks.
