Lucky Lap is a game made by Dolphin Punch LLC, 8255 Georgetown Bay Dr, Ooltewah, TN 37363, USA ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you play, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. Questions: dolphinpunchgames@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your game account. When you first open the game, our server creates a player account with a random ID and a login token that stays on your device. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to play.
What other players can see. Your player name (a random one such as "Happy Lemur 34", or one you choose), your friend code, your park and level, your tournament points, and the pranks and heists you make on other players' parks. Please do not use your real name or anything personal as your player name.
How you play. Your progress (parks, rides, coins, rolls, stickers, events and rewards), the actions you take in the game and when, and the friends you add. We need this to run the game: your progress lives on our server so it cannot be lost or changed on the device. If you enter a friend code when you start, we also record which player invited you.
Reports and blocks. When you report another player we keep the report (who made it, about whom, the reason and the name they had) until we have looked at it, and the players you block, so you stop meeting them. The player you report is not told who reported them.
Technical data. Your IP address and the time of each request, kept in our server logs to keep the service secure and working (for example to limit how many new accounts one network can make), plus the game version and device type.
Downloaded game art. To manage downloads, the game reports which Lucky Lap park files are downloaded or partly downloaded, including their versions and sizes. On Android it also reports available disk space. On iPhone and iPad, available disk space stays on the device and is used locally to check whether a download will fit. We keep the latest report for each installation under your game account and a random installation ID. This does not list your other apps, photos or personal files. Deleting your account removes these reports; we discard reports older than 30 days when storage reports are processed.
Error reports. When the game hits an error, it sends us the error and where in the game's code it happened, with the game version, the iOS version and the phone model, so we can fix it. These reports are sent without your account, so they are not linked to you.
Play statistics. The first time you open the game it asks your age and asks you to agree to our Terms of Service. When you agree, the game sends play events (such as finishing a park or running out of rolls) with the game version and device type to Dolphin Punch's own analytics service, under a random ID made on your device, not your name or email. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for this separately, and sends nothing unless you say yes. If you tell us you are under 13, the game sends no play statistics. We keep the detailed events for 90 days and daily totals after that. You can turn them off and still play (Settings, Share play statistics), and you can ask us to delete them. Deleting your account also asks for these statistics to be erased.
Your age. We keep the age range you choose at first launch (under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 and over) and when you agreed to the terms, so the game can leave out what isn't meant for younger players.
Purchases. Payments go through Apple's App Store; we never see your card details or your Apple ID. When you buy something, the game sends us Apple's signed record of the purchase (its transaction number, the product, the date) so we can check it and give you what you bought, once; Apple tells us when a purchase is refunded, so we can take it back. Each purchase carries a code made from your player ID (Apple calls it an app account token), so that a purchase goes only to the park that made it. If you delete your account, we keep the record of each purchase without anything that links it to you, to handle refunds and keep our accounts.
Facebook. If you choose to connect Facebook (in Settings) to keep your park and play with friends, we store the ID Facebook gives us for you in this game, and use your list of Facebook friends who also play to make them your friends in the game. We do not keep your Facebook login or your name from Facebook. You can disconnect Facebook in Settings at any time.
Sign in with Apple. If you choose to sign in with Apple (in Settings) to keep your park across devices, we store the private ID Apple gives us for you in this game. We do not ask Apple for your name or email. We also keep a token from Apple for one purpose: to revoke the sign-in when you sign out of Apple in the game or delete your account. Sign in with Google (not active yet) will work the same way.
Notifications. The game can remind you when your rolls are full or a new day's gifts are ready, and tell you when another player pranks or robs your park (with that player's name). If you allow notifications, your phone gives the game a push token, which we keep with your account so we can send them. You choose whether to allow them. Turning them off in Settings stops reminders and requests removal of this phone's token from our server; if you are offline, the game retries when it can connect. Deleting your account removes its tokens. Apple Push Notification service delivers remote notifications on iOS; Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers them on Android. These services process installation identifiers and notification content to deliver the messages. We do not enable Firebase Analytics.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who processes it
Our server runs at DigitalOcean in New York, USA, so if you play from another country (Canada or Australia, for example), your data is processed in the United States. Apple processes purchases under its own policy. If you sign in with Apple, Apple handles that sign-in under its own policy; if you connect Facebook, Meta does. Apple and Google process notification delivery as described above, under their own policies. We share data with no one else, except when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as you play. If you delete it, it is removed from our live database straight away, and from our backups within 14 days, when they expire. Purchase records stay, with nothing linking them to you (see Purchases). We keep server logs for up to 90 days.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Settings (the cog under the shop) and tap Delete account. This deletes your park, progress, friends and everything else about you from our server, and cannot be undone. It also asks our analytics service to erase the play statistics sent from that phone (Settings shows the request's reference). If you can no longer open the game, email dolphinpunchgames@gmail.com from the device or with your player number, and we will delete it for you. See Delete your account.
Children
Lucky Lap is not directed at children under 13. When a player tells us they are under 13, the game sends no play statistics, turns off Facebook sign-in and shows no Club offers; we keep only what the game needs to run (their park and progress, under a random player ID). If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, and to object to how we use it. Contact dolphinpunchgames@gmail.com. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We will post changes to this policy here and, for important ones, tell you in the game.
